本工作坊為期四天,聚焦莫札特作品,結合指揮技術、風格理解與實際排練經驗,讓學員在理論與實作之間建立完整的音樂思維。


課程重點

  • 與樂團音樂家的溝通與心理

亦安排交流時間,分享歐洲音樂學習、職涯發展與實務經驗。


課程形式

每日分為兩個階段:

上午|觀念與分析
透過講授與討論,深入理解風格、結構與排練方法。

下午|實作指揮
實際與音樂家合作排練。

  • 第 1–2 天: 鋼琴排練
  • 第 3–4 天: 弦樂五重奏+鋼琴

每位正式學員每日至少 20 分鐘上台指揮時間(Podium Time)

課程以英語進行,現場提供全程口譯。

正式學員: 10,000 NTD

旁聽可參與所有課程與討論,但不包含上台指揮。


師資介紹

提博・貝克

為當代極具多元發展性的音樂家之一,演出足跡遍及歐洲、亞洲與美洲,擅長古樂及新音樂。他於奧地利薩爾茲堡創立古樂團 The Van Swietens,2024 年發行之貝多芬專輯獲樂評高度肯定,並自 2025 年起擔任波哥大 Ensamble Continuo 副指揮。曾與多個國際知名樂團與音樂節合作,如Les Musiciens du Louvre、Ensemble Modern、美國亞斯本音樂節,今年七月將於奧地利薩爾茲堡音樂節演出。

合作音樂家

小提琴:朱品柔 (德國柏林音樂廳管弦樂團)

柏林音樂廳管弦樂團 Konzerthausorchester Berlin 團員,曾任波鴻交響樂團團員,畢業於德國漢諾威音樂、戲劇與媒體學院最高演奏家文憑。

小提琴:邱聖方 (德國巴伐利亞廣播交響樂團)

德國巴伐利亞廣播交響樂團團員,在音樂總監 Sir Simon Rattle 爵士帶領下,隨團巡演歐亞各地。自2026/27樂季起,將出任馬德堡愛樂樂團首席。亦經常受邀與紐倫堡歌劇院樂團、慕尼黑交響樂團、Hamburg Camerata 及德國青年交響樂團合作演出。德國漢堡音樂與戲劇學院小提琴學士畢業,現於紐倫堡音樂院攻讀碩士。

中提琴:邱榆恩 (奧地利維也納音樂暨表演藝術大學碩士)

畢業於秀山國小、漳和國中與師大附中,師事吉永禎三。
維也納國立音樂暨表演藝術大學中提琴碩士、室內樂文憑。
曾隨 Wolfgang Klos、Ulrich Schoenauer、Ilse Wincor、Johannes Meissl 等教授學習,任維也納學院管絃樂團團員,於維也納金色大廳及歐亞多國巡演。參與錄製多張專輯與跨界製作,演出採用歷史樂器與羊腸弦,呈現不同時期音樂風貌。

大提琴:李查・葛拉澤-拜斯肯 (德國馬德堡愛樂)

德國大提琴家 Richard Glaser-Beisken 自2024年11月起擔任馬德堡愛樂管弦樂團常任團員。畢業於萊比錫音樂院,師從維羅妮卡·威廉教授(萊比錫布商大廈管弦樂團大提琴副首席),在室內樂與管弦樂演奏方面表現卓越。曾與萊比錫孟德爾頌室內樂團、哈勒室內樂學院、德勒斯登小交響樂團等樂團合作演出,並參與德國各大音樂節的演出。

低音提琴:李伊鎔 (德國馬德堡愛樂)

馬德堡愛樂管弦樂團首席低音提琴。
曾任奧地利克恩頓管弦樂團低音提琴副首席、杜伊斯堡愛樂管弦樂團低音提琴副首席。於奧地利薩爾茲堡莫札特藝術大學在學期間獲漢堡易北愛樂管弦樂團獎學金、任慕尼黑愛樂管弦樂團學院團員。

鋼琴:楊子毓 (奧地利維也納音樂暨表演藝術大學講師)

奧地利維也納音樂暨表演藝術大學古樂系大鍵琴&古鋼琴合作。
畢業於德國漢諾威音樂院及奧地利薩爾茲堡莫札特藝術大學,專精歷史鍵盤樂器,以獨奏家與室內樂演奏家的身分活躍於歐洲各國。

Conducting Mozart

August 4–7

Welcome to our first Mozart Conducting Workshop in Taipei.

This intensive four-day workshop focuses on the works of W. A. Mozart, combining conducting technique with deeper musical understanding and practical collaboration with professional musicians.


Workshop Focus

Participants will explore:

  • Conducting Technique
  • Score Preparation and Analysis
  • Historical Performance Practice
  • Rehearsal Strategy
  • Communication and Psychology of Orchestral Musicians

In addition, there will be opportunities to discuss aspects of musical life in Europe, including study pathways, professional opportunities, and career development.


Structure

Each day is divided into two complementary phases:

Morning — Theoretical Work
Lectures, discussions, and analytical work on style, interpretation, and rehearsal methodology.

Afternoon — Practical Work
Hands-on conducting sessions.

  • Days 1–2: Piano sessions
  • Days 3–4: Sessions with professional String Quintet + Piano

Each active participant receives a minimum of 20 minutes podium time per day.

The workshop is held in English, with a translator present throughout.

Each participant may choose up to four movements or overtures to work on.

Active Participant: 10,000 NTD
Observer: 5,000 NTD (full workshop) or 1,500 NTD per day

Observers are welcome to attend all sessions and participate in discussions, but will not conduct.


Faculty

Thibault Back de Surany, Conductor

One of the most versatile musicians of his generation, Thibault Back de Surany performs internationally across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He is founder of the Salzburg-based period-instruments ensemble The Van Swietens, whose Beethoven CD (IBS, 2024) received critical acclaim, and since 2025 serves as Associate Conductor of Ensamble Continuo in Bogotá. He has collaborated with major orchestras and festivals including Les Musiciens du Louvre, Ensemble Modern, Aspen Music Festival, and will appear at the Salzburg Festival 2026.

Guest Musicians

Violin:Pin-Jou Chu (Konzerthaus Berlin)

A member of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, formerly a member of the Bochum Symphony Orchestra, and holder of a Master of Music from the HMTM Hannover, Germany.

Violin:Sheng-Fang Chiu (Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra)

A member of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, he has toured throughout Europe and Asia with the orchestra under the baton of Music Director Sir Simon Rattle. From the 2026/27 season, he will take up the post of concertmaster of the Magdeburgische Philharmonie. He is also regularly invited to perform with the Nuremberg State Opera Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Hamburg Camerata and the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in violin from the HfMT Hamburg and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the HfM Nuremberg.

Viola:Yu-En Chiu (mdw Vienna MA)

Graduated from Xiushan Elementary, Zhanghe Junior High, and NTNU Affiliated Senior High, studying with Chen-San Chi-Yung.

Holds a Viola Master’s and Chamber Music Diploma from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Studied with Wolfgang Klos, Ulrich Schoenauer, Ilse Wincor, and Johannes Meissl; former member of Orchester Wiener Akademie, performing in Vienna and across Europe and Asia. Participates in recordings and cross-disciplinary projects, using historical instruments with gut strings to reflect period-specific sounds.

Cello:Richard Glaser-Beisken (Magdeburgische Philharmonie)

German cellist Richard Glaser-Beisken has been a permanent member of the Magdeburg Philharmonic since November 2024. He studied with Prof. Veronika Wilhelm (Gewandhausorchester Leipzig) at HMT Leipzig, excelling in chamber music and orchestral playing, He has performed with ensembles including the Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra Leipzig, Kammerakademie Halle, Sinfonietta Dresden, and at major festivals in Germany.

Double Bass:I-Jung Li (Magdeburgische Philharmonie)

Principal double bassist of Magdeburgische Philharmonie.
Former associate principal double bassist with the Carinthian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra. Whilst studying at the Mozarteum University of Music and Performing Arts in Salzburg, Austria, she received a scholarship from the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and was a member of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra Academy.

Piano:Tzu-Yu Yang (Faculty at mdw Vienna)

Lectrurer (Harpsichord & Fortepiano) at the Department of Early Music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
A graduate of the HMTM Hannover and the Mozarteum University Salzburg, , she specialises in historical keyboard instruments and performs actively across Europe as a soloist and chamber musician.
